these few days have been different, even slightly difficult. but we will all pull through (:

HELLO 2008!

new year's eve was <33 haha. spent the morning and afternoon rushing out uni apps @_@ at least its all done DONEDONEDONE! i hope everything gets there and everything goes well. then rushed down to town to meet the syc people! <33 haha its good to see all of them again! the night was reallyreally cool haha from walking orchard-marinasquare-esplanadebridge-rafflesplace-tanjiongpagar-chinatown-clarkequay to going to ks's place and just enjoying each other's company. heh. and all the funny stuff which happened the whole day. i'm glad that i spent the firstfirstfirst part of 2008 with you guys, and also with a bit of my other friend (who i know doesnt read this). yay at least the gathering pulled through after all the emails, smses, blogs etc.. (: <33 syc!

new year! did volunteer work, went back, crashed.

and then it was moe intern teaching course at nie! haha our trainer is super cute even though she's so old she's full of energy. after so long not having talks and lectures and what not it was back to learning in a classroom. hoho. ohwells! met some people, made new friends. (:

then today it was czps 6-1 gathering! it was nice seeing everyone after... 6 years? haha yea. hoho.




ohwells. 2008 will see me missing a lot of people. all the rj people whom i used to see everyday, friends, acquaintances. odac 22, 07S03Q, bridge.... teachers, non-teaching staff. ohwells. it has only been a week into 2008 and i'm missing people. =(

been going out catching up with some people (: yayyayyayy!

monday will see me going to tpjc to teach.. another school. another group of people. and while i will miss the old, i will embrace the new.

i do hope what we have will last for a longlonglong time though. <3

SYC 07 <3!

haha all the friends, and catching up with syc'06 during cultural night, and then my syc'07 friends being super sweet to come welcome me....

the week made me feel very loved, thank you everyone!

and yes just like what all the overseas aces said - YAY TO ACES SYC'07 WAS A SUCCESS!

i need to start indulging in the wonders of life. seriously all i have been doing is running around like a mad chicken who lost its head. no direction, just madly rushing to meet deadline after deadline.

who knew post As would be like that.

okay i'm not going to be asked to be slapped by saying i want As. but well! argh.

time must stop for me to take a breath.

hoho.

sometimes we hope, not because we have faith that something might happen, but because we know the waste of energy if we work towards the lost cause, thus leaving the work to the higher superior order up there. we hope, to hope for a miracle, and do not feel as much regret if it doesnt happen, but just a tinge of sadness, that it was not meant to be.


sometimes hope doesnt get you anywhere.




sometimes, letting go is all we can do.

sometimes i wish i was less helpless, more capable, such that i could actually do something great. not for me, not for the world, but just to make your day. just one day of your life.

i hate it when i cant keep in all the annoyance and frustration and i go pop like a wet water balloon - unpleasant, and you cant even keep whats released.

maybe it was being fed up that no one seemed to bother about anything at all. or maybe its just the stress - though i hardly count that as an excuse. but RAWR when i ggraged it was.. not the best. sigh.

well at least each day i clear off one thing on my to-do list (nevermind that another 3 will get on my list that same day).

sometimes i wish i can take my own advice and take a day at a time, and one piece of work on its own.

felt strangely hyper and happy today.

i think its the flowover effects of the good times (:
